With 15 years of extensive teaching experience, our Chinese teacher has long served as a PSLE essay and oral examination marker. Over the years, she has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of essay instruction and has received the school's Outstanding Curriculum Award. Her teaching results have been remarkable, and she has been awarded the Ministry of Education's Innovation Award. The course content closely aligns with the exam syllabus, tailored to students' actual needs, helping them improve their writing and reading comprehension skills, and confidently tackle the PSLE exam. She attended Raffles Girls' School (RGS) and studied H3 English Literature at Raffles Junior College (RJC), where she achieved excellent results. She later majored in English Literature at university. She will guide students through a deep exploration of texts, uncovering the cultural and historical contexts behind the literature, fostering critical thinking and literary appreciation. Currently studying at a university in the UK, she is a member of the Singapore National Debate Team. She has twice represented Singapore in the World Schools Debating Championships, earning 4th and 3rd place, respectively. This course will improve students' debate skills through mock debates and case analysis. Students will learn how to construct compelling arguments, rebut opponents' views, and effectively express their own ideas.
